Bug Squashing Week
With an impending release, this week saw pretty much bug squashing. Most notably were:
- the Heisenbugs: “hey, let’s ship the debug version” (they occur in release mode only)
- the Schroedinger Bugs: “impossible, this piece of code has been running without problems for ages”
- the Mandelbugs: “this bug kills the server only when exactly 12 users search for ‘grey tulip aliens in red soup’ and use their mail client at the same time ???”
- the lone Bohrbug: “1 + 1 = 1″
